It’s purpose is to patrol Main Beach, keeping it safe for the beach-going public. The club has approximately 10 patrol groups who are rostered for duty on week-ends and public holidays throughout the summer season.
Throughout the season Yamba Surf Club conducts various training courses, supports youth development through Nippers; provides training and hosts competitive races. It contributes significantly to the Yamba community and plays a vital role in saving lives on our beaches.
The Yamba Surf Club is a not for profit organisation. It relies on memberships, sponsorships, donations and a long list of generous and passionate volunteers.
