Check-in Instructions

1. Follow your navigation to 8 Ocean St, Yamba 2464

2. Park in the driveway and use your unique code (usually the last four digits of the phone number you’ve given us) to enter the front door

3. If the alarm is armed, there will be a light on the alarm system directly in front of the front door. Enter 1919 and 'enter' to turn off the alarm

4. The garage door fob will be waiting for you inside the entryway so you can park your vehicle in the garage

Check-Out Instructions

To check, out, please close and lock all windows, doors, turn off all the lights, aircon and fans and stack the dishwasher and turn it on. Please turn on the alarm with code '1919' and then 'enter' as you leave (make sure your vehicle is out of the garage first). You’ll have 90 seconds to exit.

  • We respect our neighbours' right to a peaceful neighbourhood and would appreciate it if you could please comply with our quiet hours of 9pm to 8am. We have noise monitors located on the property that alert us if there are prolonged periods of high decibels at any time of day and if this is the case, we will issue a warning via phone call and then send security which will attract a fee of $165 + GST.

  • We will place a $500 hold on your credit card 24 hours before check-in (excluding Airbnb reservations). This is not a charge. It's just an authorization to hold the amount for the duration of your stay. It will be released in full when you depart unless there are excess cleaning charges or damages which will need to be charged in which instance will always talk to you first in this instance. We will require clear funds for this hold to go through before you will be issued with check-in instructions.

  • This property has a zero tolerance policy for parties, animals, vaping or smoking. This includes any guests you have on the property. If it is discovered that either is on the property, you will be asked to leave the premises without refund and costs for relevant cleaning or repairs will be taken from the security bond. We are sorry to be so strict with this, but we have had expensive repairs in the past and we value our neighbours' right to a peaceful neighbourhood.

  • We are aware of a broken shutter in the main bedroom upstairs to the left. The shutter 4 down has come loose. We are attempting to replace this for our guests as fast as possible.

    If you find anything else that is broken on arrival, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and ask that you send us a photo on arrival.

Other property information

CONSUMABLES: We supply salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar, coffee pods, tea and a small fresh milk. We also supply detergent, shampoo, conditioner and three rolls of toilet paper in each toilet. There is extra toilet paper located in the laundry.

PLAN AHEAD: Many of our guests choose to place a click and collect order from Coles Yamba ahead of their booking so that they can pick it up as they pass Coles on their way to check in.

LINEN: We provide linen, bath and beach towels for 10 people.

KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully operational with a stove, oven, microwave, pots, pans, utensils and plenty of crockery and cutlery. We provide tea, coffee pods, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, chux and dishwashing detergent. We have a gas and electric hob, full stove, fridge and pod coffee maker.

BEDDING CONFIGURATION:

Please see floor plans below for bedding configuration.

GARBAGE: Please separate your garbage into yellow for recyclables, green for food waste and red for non-recyclable. The garbage bins are located on the other side of the property. We will take them out and bring them in on Monday nights for you. We won’t disturb you.

PARTIES, ANIMALS & SMOKING: We have a strict policy of no parties, animals, loud noise nor smoking. If it is discovered that guests are in breach of this policy, they will be asked to leave the premises without refund and costs for relevant cleaning or repairs will be taken from the security bond. We are sorry to be so strict with this, but we have had expensive repairs in the past and we value our neighbours' right to a peaceful neighbourhood.
