Yamba breweries with your bros and besties

Wobbly Chook is owned by six local family members — Steve and Chris Henwood, Shane and Melissa Henwood, and Justin and Kellie Henwood.

For a small town, Yamba has its fair share of quality breweries and distilleries. They’re punching out some quality product and delivering a great day out to boot.

The Wobbly Chook opened during the pandemic and has been heaving with patrons ever since. You’ll see them under market umbrellas near the zebra crossing when you drive along Coldstream St. The team at Wobbly Chook Brewing draft their ‘clucking good beer’ on site and serve it in their very own wobbly glasses. Down a selection of beers from lagers to brown ales and wash it down with hearty finger food and you have yourself a fantastic afternoon. They’re currently working on a range of merchandise, meaning you’ll soon be able to take home a souvenir from your holiday.
