Friday Flashback: Brgr Spot

Same corner on the hill in Yamba — Clarence and High streets — but nowadays you’ll find Summis, Gather and Brgr Spot dishing up delicious coffee and cuisine instead of milk shakes and pinnies.

Did you know that Peters Ice Cream has been an Australian tradition since 1907? The beloved brand, which is as recognisable as Vegemite and Four'n'Twenty Pies, was founded by Fred Peters in 1907 in Manly, Sydney. Peters was bought by the multinational Nestle in 1996, but its ice-creams, including Drumstick, Choc Wedge and Eskimo Pie, are still made in Australia.
